Το πρώτο μέρος του Revisiting On the Commons, πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αρχιτεκτονική Σχολή της Αθήνας, με αφορμή την παρουσίαση του βιβλίου του Σταύρου Σταυρίδη Κοινός Χώρος - η Πόλη ωςΤόπος των Κοινών. Οι ερωτήσεις έγιναν από την Ομάδα Μελέτης του βιβλίου. Συμμετέχουν, με τη σειρά που ακούγονται: Αντώνης Παπαγγελόπουλος, Αιμιλία Χρονοπούλου, Δημήτρης Λουπέτης, Κάλλια Φυσαράκη και Πέγκυ Ζάλη.
The first part of Revisiting On the Commons took place at the School of Architecture of Athens on the occasion of the presentation of Stavros Stavridis' book Common Space - the City as a Place of Commons. The questions were made by LUC's Study Group. Participants in order of appearance: Antonis Papangelopoulos, Emilia Chronopoulou, Dimitris Loupetis, Kallia Fysaraki and Pegy Zali.

Το δεύτερο μέρος της συνέντευξης πραγματοποιήθηκε στο χώρο μας (316 B, Αρχιτεκτονική Σχολή, Ε.Μ.Π) από την Ομάδα Μελέτης του βιβλίου που αποτελείται από τους Αντώνη Παπαγγελόπουλο, Αιμιλία Χρονόπουλου, Καλία Φισαράκη, Δημήτρη Λουπέτη και Πέγκυ Ζάλη.
The second part of the interview was held in our space (316 B, School of Architecture, N.T.U.A.) by the Study Group of the book composed by Antoni Papangelopoulos, Emilia Chronopoulou, Kalia Fisaraki, Dimitris Loupetis and Pegy Zali.

Το Revisiting: On the Commons, είναι μια ενημερωμένη εκδοχή της δημόσιας συνέντευξης του Δρ. Massimo de Angelis και του Δρ. Σταύρου Σταυρίδη στην ομάδα An Architektur κατά διάρκεια τη 2ης Μπιενάλε της Αθήνας το 2009 που δημοσιεύθηκε τον Ιούλιο του 2010 (An Architektur, αρ. 23: On the Commons).

Η Ομάδα Μελέτης* του βιβλίου, συνυπολογίζοντας τις επιταχυνόμενες κοινωνικοπολιτικές, ανθρωπιστικές και οικονομικές αλλαγές της τελευταίας δεκαετίας, επαναδιατύπωσε τις αρχικές ερωτήσεις της συνέντευξης και προσκάλεσε τους δύο στοχαστές να ανταποκριθούν επαναπροσδιορίζοντας τις αρχικές τους απαντήσεις.

Η συνέντευξη, που έγινε στην Αθήνα, εξελίσσεται καθώς οι συμμετέχοντες ανταλλάσσουν γνώσεις και εμπειρίες σχετικά με τις σύγχρονες σχέσεις μεταξύ των αστικών κοινών και της αρχιτεκτονικής και πώς κοινές πρακτικές και συλλογικές δράσεις θα μπορούσαν να διαμορφώσουν το περιβάλλον στο οποίο ζούμε.

*Οι Ομάδες Μελέτης προκύπτουν από τη διευρυμένη ομάδα και τους συνεργάτες του Εργαστηρίου, και ταυτόχρονα είναι ανοιχτές σε άτομα και ομάδες με κοινές πολιτικές, και θεωρητικές αναφορές.

Revisiting: On the Commons, is an updated take on the seminal public interview between Dr. Massimo de Angelis and Dr. Stavros Stavrides conducted by An Architektur during the 2nd Athens Biennale in 2009 and published in July 2010 (An Architektur, no. 23: On the Commons).

LUCs' *Study Group** collectively recreated the original interview questions in light of the accelerated sociopolitical, humanitarian and economic changes of the last decade and invited the two thinkers to respond by reconsidering their original answers from a present-day perspective.

The Athens-based interview develops as contributors exchange knowledge and experience on the relations between the urban common(s) and architecture today, and how common practices and collective actions could shape the environment we are inhabiting.

*Study groups are initiated by the extended group of the Laboratory’s team and collaborators, and are also open to individuals and groups with common political and theoretical underpinnings.
